Our Mission: Becoming Food Waste Warriors!
Welcome, everyone! In this project, we are not just learning English; we are learning how to save our planet using the power of words. Here is what we are going to achieve together:

Your Learning Goals 
1. Become a Vocabulary Master 

You will learn how to use "word partnerships" (collocations) like repurpose leftovers and reduce wastage.
You will discover how one root word can grow into a whole "family" (morphology), like waste -> wasteful.
You will find out that some words have "secret" double meanings (polysemy) depending on where we use them!
2. Master the Art of Persuasion 

You will learn how to choose the right words (connotations) to make "ugly" fruits sound delicious and nutritious.
You will practice speaking in different ways (register): like a scientist at the UN or like a cool influencer on Instagram!
3. Become a Tech-Savvy Researcher 

You will explore a Digital Story and find hidden "hotspots" of knowledge.
You will collaborate with your team to create a Digital Cookbook on our class Wiki.
4. Save the Planet from your Kitchen 

You will learn to read food labels like a detective (Use by vs. Best before).
You will use your English to tell your family and friends how to stop food waste at home!
